The Youth Ministry of Journey Church!

Journey Youth exists to see youth transformed to live and love like Jesus!

Our vision for accomplishing this mission is we want every student to: Experience God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT A YOUTH GATHERING

Middle School and High School Students meet weekly on Wednesday Nights at 6:30 PM at our Lake Worth Campus.

Middle School also meets on Sunday mornings at our Boynton Campus at 11am, and our West Palm Beach Campus at 10am.

Hangs
Hangs are where Middle and High School students have fun, play games, and catch up on life with each other and their leader

Worship
Every service we have at Journey Youth includes worship. At Journey, worship is described as love expressed towards God. In this context, we express our love and worship to God through praise and song.

Message
God’s word is the foundation and filter to everything we do and teach. Each month has a specific sermon series that teaches biblical wisdom, values, and the heart of God displayed through the life of Jesus.

Connection Groups
Connection groups are after each service and they are designed to do 3 things: 1) Connect youth to God. 2) Connect youth to one another. 3) Connect youth to a leader. Leaders use conversation guides that are based upon the message.

JOURNEY YOUTH'S MONTHLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT GATHERING STRUCTURE

Journey Youth uses a monthly gathering structure that gives purpose to each Wednesday night in the month. Here is the structure:WK 1:

Encounter Nights / or YTH Nights
Encounter Nights: The Youth Ministry joins our church on the first Wednesday of every month for Encounter Nights. Students and Leaders have an opportunity to engage in extended worship, a shortened message, and prayer. Pizza is provided.

On nights that we do not meet for Encounter night, we gather for a standard YTH Night.

WK 2: YTH Collective Nights
YTH Collective Nights are our big evangelistic night. Middle School and High School combines for teaching, and we begin a new series. These nights are evangelistic driven and will always include an altar call and pizza afterwards. Small groups do meet on these nights and aim to help connect new VIP guests to the ministry.

WK 3 & 4: YTH Nights
YTH Nights are our discipleship driven nights. These nights split Middle School and High School for the message and groups typically last from 30 minutes to 1hr. Students are encouraged to build upon the conversation from the week prior. Snacks and water are provided.

WK 5: YTH Collective Worship Nights or Group Nights
